Lubdugs in the Summertime

Ever been in the situation where you have to choose between your two favorite summer foods, lubsta' or hut dugs? Whenever that issue comes around, I say do both. The lubsta' is a well known scavenger that'll eat anything. Not unlike most dug lovers. They also have a lot more in common than you may think.

Like dugs, when you eat a lubsta' you don't really know what you're ingesting. They both pack whatever proteins they can get and pack it into a meaty substance within a casing. They are also universally loved and worshiped across all cultures. That may be why they pair so well together.

This will be one of the few instances I will recommend choosing an all-beefer over a traditional, authentic dug. The beef stick ads a much needed counter-punch to the watery, slimy lobster meat. The dug will ensure that it will be a meal of substance. Adding much needed protein from good, hardy, land-walking food beings. If you like rabbit food I suggest making it a 'slaw dug and even serving some Coleslaw on the side to add some crunch.

Nothing is more summery than a beef dug paired with a fresh lubsta'. The suf-n-tuf just gained some much needed competition!
